Third Script: Accuracy Overflow

Sorry for the delay! I’ve finished two scripts, but the larger one needs its documentation finished. So, tonight you get the smaller one, Accuracy Overflow. It’ll allow you to make success rates higher than 100% combat enemy evasion, which is useful in just about any game. It’ll also let you actually create success rates higher than 100% for skills and items!

Highly recommended for use with this script is Yanfly’s Extra Param Formulas. Since I use fairly static numbers for my stats in my latest game, my hit/eva parameters simply add the character’s AGI to them. Even if you don’t plan on editing the formulas, it’s a great script in any case.

And now I’m going to go back to Dissidia 012.

There is a minor incompatibility with this and Yanfly’s Ace Battle Engine: If you use both of those scripts together, “Miss” and “Evade” popups from Yanfly’s Ace Battle Engine are no longer displayed.

It looks as if you write your scripts with Yanfly’s work in mind, so I thought I would point this out to you. Love this script!

Really? Because they still display for me! Try putting the script at the top of your script listing and see what happens.

Hi Craze! Sorry to revive this old thread.

Have a little quick question regarding the script. If I just put in my project without using any tag in skills or items notebox, the script itself will do the adjusting attacker’s hit rate to go beyond 100% cap, won’t it?

It will do that automatically, yes!
